On Thursday 4 and Friday 5 May, our brilliant volunteer bakers will be holding a bake sale at the Lansdowne office. They will be baking small or large cakes, ideal for the upcoming Coronation bank holiday weekend.
Staff at our Moordown, Winton and Highcliffe offices will be able to place orders for collection.
We will be asking for suggested donations to benefit an excellent local charity Ashley’s Birthday Bank.
We wanted to help them because of their good work in the local community. Their aim is to help families in poverty or effected by domestic violence, human trafficking, or neglect by providing food, toys, gifts, clothing, furniture, toiletries, household items and white goods.
Ashley’s Birthday Bank are based in Christchurch and receive referrals from social workers, police liaison officers, local refuges and pastoral care workers.
