I joined Aldridge Brownlee in August 1980 and then studied at Bournemouth College and by correspondence courses, qualifying as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2008. I am also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. I became an Associate of the firm in 2012.
I have been with Aldridge Brownlee since 1980 and have specialised in all aspects of Private Client affairs since 1990. My main area of work is assisting clients with their financial affairs under Powers of Attorney or through the Court of Protection. I also undertake the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney and deal with the administration of estates. Many of my clients are without family support and are often elderly, vulnerable, housebound or in care homes and have physical or mental health issues. I work closely with social services, carers, family and friends to advise and provide a friendly and helpful service tailored to each person’s individual requirements.
I play percussion for Downton Brass Band.
