I graduated in law from Jesus College Oxford in 1975 and apart from 6 months at Guildford College of Law, I am proud to say that I have been with Aldridge Brownlee ever since. I became a partner in the firm in 1982.
I specialised for over 20 years in criminal law but I have always had a keen interest in childcare matters and now head a team of lawyers practising exclusively in this field. We cover all aspects of the relationship between families and children and Social Services and work on a daily basis in the courts on emergency protection orders, applications for care orders, adoption and all other types of case which involve children, their parents and extended families.
Married with four daughters, when I’m not in the office or court I seem to spend most of my time playing music in various local bands. My wife Karen and I have for many years been two of the five members of Rick Rock and Rowdies as well as being part of Swing Unlimited Big Band. I play guitars with various numbers of strings and Karen sings and plays saxophone! It keeps us happy!
I love old cars and have owned the same Triumph Herald since 1971!
