I started my career with Aldridge Brownlee in September 2011 after studying History at Keele University and Law at Bournemouth University. I qualified as a solicitor in February 2014.
I act for developer clients seeking to develop existing 'non-built' sites and/or changes of use of existing 'built' sites and regeneration projects. I provide a range of advice in relation to varied methods of site acquisition I.e. Option Agreements, Conditional Contracts, Unconditional Contracts; reporting on and resolving title issues such as restrictive covenants; reporting on and negotiating purchase contracts; drafting detailed land transfers; advising and assisting on all post-completion matters such as SDLT, Companies House matters and Land Registry applications.
I act for landlords and tenants in lease negotiations such as grants of new leases; Section 24-28 LTA 1954 lease renewals; lease assignments; lease surrenders and lease variations.
I also act for commercial and residential clients alike in the sale and purchase of freehold and leasehold residential property and offer a friendly hands-on approach to the conveyancing process.
I am an attentive person who seeks to discover and understand the client’s objectives at an early stage, with a view to combining a personalised service with sound legal advice.
I once dismissed England cricketer Kevin Pietersen.
